The NCH features a Back pull-out design for ease of maintenance. Other standard design features include a heavy cast iron, adjustable bearing frame with roller and ball bearings. PACO uses an oversized shaft to help minimize deflection to not more than .002" at shutoff head. These design features allow the NCH to maintain a bearing life well over 100,000 hours. The standard two port impellers are designed for large solids handling, provided with back pump-out vanes, and L-shaped wear plates. The NCH is standard fitted with rugged Class 30 cast iron, with several selections of optional alloy materials available. The QDSC is designed to minimize installation costs with increased efficiency and capacities allowing for reduced horsepower and smaller pumps. The QDSC is provided with an adjustable case wear ring to help extend the pump life and maintain high efficiency levels. The QDSC submersible motor has tandem seals mounted in an oil reservoir complete with moisture sensing probes. Each motor includes dual, normally closed, automatic reset thermostats to protect against an over temperature condition. The sliding guide rail system is designed to allow interchangeability with universal guide rail systems for new installations and retrofits at existing sites.
The NSC features an integral stand that is cast as part of the casing. The discharge elbow is also integral to the casing. This allows for a straight pipe discharge connection and reduced installation costs. The NSC submersible motor has tandem seals mounted in an oil reservoir, complete with moisture sensing probes. Each motor includes dual, normally closed, automatic reset thermostats to protect against an over temperature condition.
The NCC is designed and built for high performance, durability, and versatility of operation. The NCC is ideally suited for difficult pumping applications, including raw sewage, municipal or industrial waste-water and drainage. PACO provides custom fit sump covers in both simplex and duplex configurations for all models. The NCC features different lower and intermediate bearing options to best suit the pumpage. In an extreme application, the NCC can be provided with a fresh water pressurized column to lubricate the bearing surfaces. This will substantially increase the bearing life in applications where the waste is contaminated by sand, acids, or other abrasives.
The PIP500 standard features include an oil filled motor, two port impellers with back pump out vanes, and 3½" support legs. The compact pump and motor unit is installed out of sight, in the sump, conserving valuable floor space above the cover plate.
