PACO accessories are engineered for minimal friction losses in order to maximize overall system efficiency.
Use a suction diffuser whenever floor space does not permit recommended 10 pipe diameters of straight suction piping. Diffuser incorporates flow-straightening guide vanes to promote smooth, even flow profile as fluid enters pump suction thereby maximizing pump life. Series PSD diffusers incorporate a permanent, perforated stainless steel strainer and a disposable stainless steel, fine-mesh start-up screen for capture and removal of foreign particulates in system piping. Clean fluid, free of suspended solids helps protect pump and other system components. Diffuser is provided with 125# ANSI flanges, suitable for direct mounting to suction flange of the pump. Spring-loaded bronze disc with Stainless Steel spring loading promotes chatter-free, corrosion-resistant operation and allows for valve to installed in horizontal or vertical orientations. Durable, non-Slam O-ring seat seal provides long-lasting, wear-resistant seat while maintaining soft and positive closure and Position Indicator scale and memory marker allows for quick visual inspection of valve position and precise return of original positioning after closure and re-opening, to preserve accurate balance.
